Recalling PSE, the installed capacity of wind farms in Poland in Q4 already achieved 6.3 GW. The largest source of electricity among RES is wind. Investments in wind farms in Poland have gained momentum again, and so the market share of GP RENEWABLES GROUP - the designer of windfarms foundations systematically grows.
Today, more than every third new wind farms in Poland have our foundation designs. We look forward the results of this year's wind auctions, counting on a further increase in our market share. - says Grzegorz Sobieski, Chief Vision Officer (CVO) at GP RENEWABLES GROUP.
The company operates as well on international markets through branches in Germany, France and Brazil. YOY turnover increased by 250% (October 2020 vs October 2019). The orders for 38% of the 2018 & 2019 Polish wind RES auctions projects contributed significantly to this proud GP RENEWABLES result. The Group consists of two companies GP Wind and GP Earth with the service of design and optimization of wind farm foundations, their periodic inspections, repairs and renovations, as well as technical due diligence analyzes and support in the process of buying / selling wind assets.

Starting from this year, GP RENEWABLES GROUP also deals with a comprehensive service of blades recycling including cutting, transport, disposal and documentation related to the recycling of old wind turbines. According to WindEurope, by 2023, around 14,000 wind blades globally will have to be dismantled due to their end of life. In other words in the coming years, approximately 60,000 tons of the composite will be disposed of.

In order to meet these challenges, GP RENEWABLES GROUP go in for the R&D activities of converting blades composite elements into small urban architecture. Together with business partners, the Polish company Anmet specializing in the recycling of composite materials, and outstanding scientists from Polish technical universities, a wide portfolio of public space elements was developed that are visually and practically attractive. 90% of the products come from the recycling of worn-out composite blades of wind turbines and as part of their „second life“ they have taken various shapes: benches, tables, couches, shelters, bridges and others. The furniture is fashionable and affordable, but most importantly – it allows, together with a social or institutional partner, to revitalize a selected public or private space in the spirit of eco.
